Runaway★Trek is an (almost) three-line-per-post style comedic Star Trek fan-fiction series, featuring only my original characters. This page introduces the setting and characters of the story.
The story is set in the era before the Dominion War, the same timeframe as TNG and DS9. Since it is a story about a civilian ship, the Federation and Starfleet may not appear. It's a fan's mission to explore the strange charms of Star Trek aliens🖖
It's a nickname. A human woman who acquired a vast fortune by a whim of the universe. The owner and captain of the spaceship Marisu. Seemingly detached, yet driven by pure curiosity.
A Cardassian man and a former civilian shuttle captain exiled from his homeworld, hired as the pilot of the Marisu. Highly possessive and jealous, yet completely aligned with Runa when it comes to sheer rationality.
A Xindi-Reptilian man and a deserter who was formerly an assault officer. Found drifting in space and hired as a guard of the Marisu. Driven by a strict sense of duty, wishing to return to his homeworld even knowing execution awaits him.

An Andria man who has been divorced by his spouses, hired as a mechanic of the Marisu.
An Earth-build small cruiser. Purchased by Runa as a brand-new, unused 20-year-old ship, and fully upgrade to the latest equipment. Low-heeled pump shaped spaceship with finned thrusters where the arch would be. Four-deck structure with elegant interior featuring an atrium with a spiral staircase and an observation lounge.
